Mel Carlo has been an accomplished painter all of his life. Over a period of years, Carlo has evolved to painting with an impressionistic style mixed with realism.
At his studio in Greenwich, Connecticut, Mel Carlo has become known as an accomplished painter and an incredible restorer of paintings, having restored some of the world's most renowned art.
Mel Carlo received a scholarship to Yale University's Whitney School of Art. He furthered his art education at New York University and the Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, New York where he received his degree and was on the Dean's List with Honors.
Mel Carlo has received numerous awards including: National Scholastic Art Awards, Pittsburgh, PA; Scholastic Art Awards, Fine Art Gallery Carnegie Institute; Greenwich Gallery certificate of Merit for commendable presentation of ten works of art.
Mel Carlo's work has been exhibited at institutions including the Architectural League of N.Y. and the Pratt Institute Gallery, and has held shows at the Greenwich Trust Company and at Greenwich Library. ...
